Bunch of stuff going on with Trackademicks’ Honor Roll crew.
- This weekend you can check them partying on the decks with J*Davey (aka “Black Morris” – ha!) at their Roll Call party in San Francisco at SOM. To get in the mood, here’s Trackademicks’ remix of the J*Davey tune “Slooow” to download.
- 1-O.A.K. guests on the new Beeda Weeda tune “Boo Thang” (off Beeda’s excellently titled new one Smash Hit For The Ladies).
- Josie Stingray’s “Gotta Get It” is featured over at The Urban Daily.

We’re ending the year with a treat for all our fam, friends and supporters this year – not one but TWO new Foolcasts, featuring live sets by Max Glazer, The Brothers Macklovitch, and Just Blaze (playing house!) recorded at the FG x LTD Holiday Party in NYC.
Two ways to get em: subscribe to the Foolcast via iTunes or your favorite RSS reader at the main Foolcast page, where you can also download the mixes directly (grab the Max Glazer and Macklobros sets here, and the JB set here).
For more from the blizard-busting festivities (where Nick Catchdubs also played and Trackademicks was on the mic hosting) check out these great photo galleries from Village Slum (Part 1 & 2) and Hi Fi Cartel. See you in 2010!

Head over to the Honor Roll blog to download 1-O.A.K.’s excellent cover of The Cure’s “Lovecats,” which was produced by Trackademicks and has become a staple of the crew’s live sets over the past few months.

Check out this bonus beat from the Ultraviolet sessions, “Down Azz Jawn” produced by Trackademicks. It’s a welcome throwback to 90s thug love RnB. For everyone who’s ever dated someone on house arrest! It’s the inaugural song kicking off RCRD LBL’s new “RCRD OF THE DAY” promotion with MySpace. So download and enjoy!

We threw two parties in NYC to celebrate the label’s 2nd anniversary during this past CMJ fest – if you missed em, you missed out! Fortunately, we scoured the interweb to collect all the photo galleries, etc (hit us up if you have any more).
Check out Karmaloop’s great recap of Night #1 at 88 Palace above, which featured sets by Kingdom, Donnis (joined onstage by fellow ATLien Pill), Treasure Fingers, Sammy Bananas (who even rocked some Telephoned tracks with partner Maggie Horn), Trackademicks and the Honor Roll crew, and – a first for FG! – live band performances by Vega and The Suzan. Hi-Fi Cartel, Metromix, and The Culture Of Me got some pics, Billboard spoke to A-Trak for a video interview, and Beatcakes had a nice little blog post highlighting The Suzan (“probably one of the best shows I have seen in my life”).
For Night #2 we went with an all-DJ lineup at N8 in Brooklyn, featuring Jokers Of The Scene, LA Riots, Nacho Lovers and extended fam Udachi + Jubilee (Jamie from the xx was slated to play as well, but his band’s set ran late – we’ll get him in the mix soon enough!). You can check pics over at Driven By Boredom. Special thanks to Chicago’s own Thunder Horse for providing live projections / bugged visuals for both nights of festivities! See you for the 3-year bash soon…

Hit up Mezzanine this Saturday (Oct 3rd) to see LA Riots, Trackademicks and more at Gold Play – it’s an afterparty for the giant LovEvolution parade earlier in the day (SF knows how to get festive) with special admission for anyone dressed in all gold. Theme! Peep the commercial + more info after the jump. Read More
