Last week in Cali you may have seen the FG fam representing with Trackademicks at Audiotistic (he jumped onstage to perform “Enjoy What You Do” at the peak of Nick Catchdubs’ set) and The Do-Over. He’s been working on a lot of new music we’re excited to share with y’all very soon, but meanwhile here’s his latest remix, for Bay bros League510′s “To The Beat”

If that’s not enough HNRL for ya, grab DJ Tap.10′s new Made In SF mix for Made Jewelry. Says Tap, it’s a “collection of recent joints I’ve been feeling, including some Champagne Soul, Tender Knock, HNRL joints and some classic, lesser known Frisco anthems.” Here’s a handy zip file.

Freddie Gibbs (of XXL Freshmen fame, amongst other accolades) recently dropped his first official 12″ single for the tune “Playa,” and it comes backed with a remix by our own Trackademicks. Grab it on vinyl and digital at the Stones Throw webstore. Want more Track x Gibbs? Well you’re just gonna have to stay tuned then…

Fool’s Gold’s fresh coast representer Trackademicks is featured on Track #1 of Count & Sinden’s long awaited Mega Mega Mega LP, out this August. The final tracklist was revealed today, and you can check a teaser of their collab “Do You Really Want It” along with snippets of the rest of the LP on this new promo mix.

About time! Like we do every spring, the whole fam went down to Austin a few weeks back for SXSW. Our artists had tons of shows and guest sets to hit, but the pieces de resistance were the two FG events: the Texas Takeover at Republic Live, and the official FG SXSW Showcase at Malverde. Strictly best-of-the-best DJs, MCs, and even some new rock-n-rollers. Party! Whistles!

Head over to RCRD LBL (or hit the widget below) for the latest installment of Track’s fan-favorite series of “remixtapes” – a combination of his own official remixes for artists from Chromeo to Kid Cudi to Zero 7, alongside unofficial flips of Wale, Kenna and more – most of which feature brand new raps from Track and the rest of his Honor Roll crew.

One of the highlights is “Prime Factors” (which makes it’s debut here), a half time hip hop jam based around the rave piano breakdown from Jokers Of The Scene’s “Baggy Bottom Boys.” And DJ Tap.10 is on the cuts as always!

It’s that time of year again… we’re bringing the whole gang down to Austin for SXSW festivities. Suited and booted!

First up is our inaugural “Texas Takeover” party on Thursday, 3/18 at Republic Live, featuring Travis x A-Trak, Donnis, Treasure Fingers, Congorock, Kingdom and Sammy Bananas. Get advance tickets here.

Then the following night (Friday 3/19) at Malverde we go even bigger with our official SXSW showcase, featuring Vega, Kid Sister w/ Flosstradamus, Telephoned, Jokers Of The Scene, Trackademicks, The Suzan, Nick Catchdubs, Malente, our extended fam Theophilus London, and… surprise guests?
