DC’s Wale and FG’s Nick Catchdubs just dropped The Mixtape About Nothing today, and you can download it for free (part 1 and part 2) or get a physical copy bundled with a limited-edition 10.Deep “Serenity Now” shirt. Don’t take the Seinfeld theme too literally though, it’s definitely Wale’s De La Soul Is Dead moment: “If you love substance, you love Wale/ But most niggas love nothing, so I made this tape.”

This Friday’s edition of the Space Cakes party at Hugs (108 N.6th, BKLYN) is going to be a big one. Residents Nick Catchdubs and Rezound are joined by the inimitable Eli Escobar and some “surprise” FG guests. Lets just call them…Soakers Of The Jeans, and one half of the Burrito Rubbers. Why not? BE THERE!
