Fool's Gold Day Off Returns To NYC!

Back! Back in a New York groove!

The thousands of people who attended our Day Off party last year (or saw the footage immortalized in Duck Sauce’s smash “Barbra Streisand” video) spent an afternoon living it up with the country’s most fun MCs and DJs, eating hamburgers in one hand and catching a crowd-surfing Yelawolf in the other. If you’ve been paying attention, you know we’ve been working on something special with G-Technology: TIGHT SPACE, a new streaming series featuring exclusive DJ sets live from 536 Metropolitan, the Fool’s Gold store in Brooklyn.

All you have to do is like the G-Tech Facebook page to watch the show, which kicks off July 20th with Chromeo on the 1s and 2s, then sets from A-Trak and Treasure Fingers on following episodes.

Head over to Pitchfork to download Breakbot’s remix of Chromeo’s next single, the Solange Knowles-featuring “When The Night Falls.” You can grab it (along with new versions from Lifelike, Hercules and Love Affair and Mayer Hawthorne) on July 26th, and then check the guys on the road throughout North America for the rest of the summer, with Breakbot and Mayer Hawthorne opening selected dates.
