Oh Canada! We threw our first ever international DAY OFF right in the heart of Toronto, bringing the turn up to Muzik Pool Bar with Danny Brown, A-Trak (accompanied by hometown OVO hero P. Reign), Lunice, Le1f, Tommy Kruise, Thugli, Nick Catchdubs, High Klassified and Sleepy Tom. If you were there, you got to share something special (big shout out to the kid who smuggled in Cool Ranch Doritos to give to Danny onstage during “Monopoly”) and if you weren’t, you can still catch up with this recap vid! Peep fgdayoff.com for details on a DAY OFF near you, and for more TO action, check out photo galleries and recaps from The Bass Collective, Aesthetic Magazine & BLARE, some of our favorites after the jump. We say this after every Labor Day… but this year’s Day Off was our absolute craziest yet! Thousands of party people took over 50 Kent to rock with Fool’s Gold family and friends. The day brought sets from Danny Brown, French Montana, A-Trak, Araabmuzik, The Lox, Brenmar, Hoodboi B2B Falcons, Yung Gleesh, World’s Fair, Nick Catchdubs feat B.I.C., Shash’u, Black Dave, GrandeMarshall, Cakes Da Killa and Ruff Ryders young’n Lil Waah. And let’s not forget the surprise guests! French Montana brought out BK’s own Bobby Shmurda, while A-Trak surprised the crowd with Remy Ma, Cam’ron, A$AP Nast, iLoveMakonnen, and Travi$ Scott, and Black Dave repped for the home team with Smoke DZA. Desus & Mero held us down on the host tip with their bodega stand up (complete with assists from Rosenberg, Miss Info, Ebro and the Hot 97 crew). It was truly one for the books…
Big shouts to our sponsors G-Shock, Red Bull and The FADER. Grab your tickets now for the remaining DAY OFF shows in LA, ATL and Miami at fgdayoff.com. Read More
