Two independent record labels, united under a groove…

Thanks to everyone who braved the elements with us last Sunday for “Pool’s Gold” at the Jelly Pool Party, and came out soggy-but-smiling on the other end after rocking with Chromeo, Kid Sister, The Suzan and Telephoned.

Check out a slew of great pics from Nicky Digital (who captured the show, the lounge and the afterparty, featuring Nick Catchdubs, Vin Sol, Gant-Man and a lotta bowling), Metromix, Stereogum, Brooklyn Vegan, Village Voice (blog + slideshow), Luca, Sheena Beaston, QRO (1, 2, 3) and a bunch of vids from We Stole The Show.

If you have any more galleries, post em in the comments!

Fool's Gold In Bushmills Billboard Campaign

Posted on May 4th, 2010

Starting this week, people walking the streets and riding the subways of NYC and Brooklyn have been greeted by the handsome trio of FG founders A-Trak, Nick Catchdubs and Dust La Rock, mugging it up for Bushmills’ new “Since Way Back” ad campaign, also featuring portraits of friends Chromeo, DFA, No Mas, and Kai Regan and co. There’s painted wall-size versions (ours is next to Alife Rivington Club), subway ads, and proper billboards throughout the metro area. Keep us posted with your Twitpics, etc when spotted!

For more, check the Bushmills Facebook page, and see more pics (and video of our photo shoot at Jonathan Mannion’s storied NYC studio) after the jump. Read More

Check some highlights in our wrap-up clip (once again edited by Lizi Gross) and peep a TON of photo galleries – from GC as well as the Fool’s Gold x Mad Decent “Mad Fools” party later that weekend – after the jump. Fool's Gold European Vacation Recap

Posted on Feb 5th, 2010

Our European Vacation Tour was a smashing success, as evidenced by the highlight reel above (soundtracked by the forthcoming Jokers Of The Scene single “Revolting Joks”). But the onstage action doesn’t end there: Red Bull Music Academy Radio recorded live sets from the last night of the tour in Paris (A-Trak, JOTS, Congorock and Arthur King), and you can listen to them here alongside great photos by Mr Mass.

There’s still a handful of tour tees at our webstore, too – get em while they last! We’ll be back soon…
