Remember the last time we rocked at the 10.Deep holiday party? This Wednesday (12/5) we’re hosting an event in the Fool’s Gold store for DJs Against Climate Change, the non profit organization founded by Sammy Bananas. Now entering it’s 5th year of helping DJs offset the environmentally damaging carbon emissions produced from their airplane travel, the DJACC uses artists’ cultural influence to show how everyone can take responsibility for their impact on Climate Change.
Find out more (and donate!) at indiegogo.com/DJACC, and come thru the store this Wednesday, where Sammy will break down ways to combat climate change in person while Nick Catchdubs, Star Eyes (Trouble & Bass) and DJ Ayres (The Rub) play tunes from 6-9pm. We’ll also have complimentary refreshments from our friends at Bushmills. Hang and learn! Read More

Telephoned go grunge with Singles, their new free EP inspired by the Cameron Crowe film (and iconic soundtrack) of the same name. Download the whole thing and check Sammy and Maggie as they flip Smashing Pumpkins, Alice In Chains, Screaming Trees and Jimi Hendrix (hey, it’s Seattle!) over repurposed Ryan Hemsworth beats, turning these four rockers into moody, bittersweet r&b slow jams in the process.
Tomorrow (11/29) celebrate with Telephoned at Public Assembly in Williamsburg, where they’ll be performing live alongside Hot Sugar (who has a fun free EP of his own out now) and DJ sets from Jubilee. Info here and flyer after the jump!
