Danny Brown is on fire: after announcing the “Worst Of Both Worlds” Tour with chart-topping DJ phenomenon Baauer (culminating with sure-to-be triumphant Coachella performances), the Detroit superstar leaked “#HottestMC,” a controversial response to MTV’s list of the same name that instantly garnered praise everywhere from Pitchfork (hailing it as “a devastating slice of messiah-rap meant for an age of false prophets”) to lyrical peers like Kendrick Lamar (who instantly tweeted, “Danny Brown killin this new track. Hard. Uncut tho.”)
Danny’s hot streak will continue to blaze all this spring on the “Old & Reckless” Tour, his first ever solo headlining trek following back-to-back sold-out US tours supporting A$AP Rocky and Childish Gambino. Fellow rap rule-breaker Kitty will open each date, and fans will be the first to hear new songs from Danny’s eagerly anticipated new Fool’s Gold full-length Old, featuring guest appearances from Schoolboy Q, Charli XCX, Rustie and more.
Are you up on Bames? These two beatmakin’ Texas boys are the newest addition to the Fool’s Gold league of superheroes, coming out swinging with their debut EP DRTY BWTY. Grab it now on iTunes, Beatport and everywhere else fine digital music is sold.
There is only one direction to turn, boys and girls of America, and that direction is up. TURNUP TURNUP TURNUP! Baauer and Danny Brown are joining forces for the “Worst Of Both Worlds” tour this April, just like Jay-Z and R Kelly’s legendary “Best Of Both Worlds” trek, except with more bass and less pepper spray. Fader spilled the beans this morning, check out the tour dates (culminating with Coachella slots for both) and rock with these gents when they roll through.

Last year’s maiden voyage of HARD’s Holy Ship! was a floating rave for the history books. So it’s only right that FG returned for the sequel (note the two exclamation points) and take Holy Ship!! over pirate-style once again. A-Trak, Oliver, Tommy Trash, Crookers, Dillon Francis, Baauer, RL Grime, Brodinski and even more of your favorite DJs got in on the action, check Josh Wehle’s recap video to see just how wavy it got. And for more aquatic action, peep Rukes’ photo galleries from days one, two and three.
