Posted on Jul 10th, 2009

Check Pitchfork today for their quick Q&A with Kid Sister, who spills some beans about some of the new tracks added to her album (courtesy of Rusko, XXXChange and more), her forthcoming single produced by Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso of Swedish House Mafia (listen to a snippet in this A-Trak vid), and mini golf. Stay tuned for tunes!

(Also: is it just us, or are these P4Kers Rappin Ass Thursdays readers?!?)

A-Trak Guest List on Pitchfork

Posted on May 15th, 2009

Amazingly, the best thing on Pitchfork’s front page today isn’t the Cam’ron review blurb that declares Crime Pays as having a “lonely, defensive Kirk Van Houten vibe” (?!?) but this fairly extensive A-Trak edition of their “Guest List” feature, which you can read here. Check Trizzy talking about Proust, Mythbusters, weird Bill Wyman records and of course DUCK SAUCE.

Track Radio

Posted on Mar 9th, 2009

This Friday on The FADER’s “The Let Out” on East Village Radio, they had ATLien and Killer Mike associate Pill by to kick some rhymes, and whaddayaknow, one of the tracks he goes over just happens to be Trackademicks’ “Topsidin” instrumental from the “Enjoy What You Do / Topsidin” single (available here and everywhere else digital music is sold, vinyl on its way!) Sure, it’s a “freestyle” in the most literal sense, but as always it’s cool to hear other rappers on our stuff.

Elsewhere on the internet airwaves, you can listen to this extensive Trackademicks interview with Streets Is Talking Radio right here. “In the words of Mac Mall, this interview is full of ‘Nathan But Game,'” says Track. Grab it!
