We’ve been remiss in not shouting out the Hard LA festival, which pops off in a matter of weeks (July 19th!) at the Shrine Expo Center in LA. As you might have read, the second FG label tour is about to jump off this April - “Screaming Bloody Murder,” in conjunction with our pals at Dim Mak. FG friend Steve Aoki drops his mix album Pillowface and His Airplane Chronicles today, and it features a guest verse from Kid Sister over fellow Chicagoan Cajmere’s “Shake And Pop.” Check Steve, A-Trak and a bunch of guests at the Pillowface LA release party tomorrow (Wed 1/23) at Cinespace, and then again at the NYC release party on Saturday (1/26) at Studio B…which doubles as an afterparty for Chromeo’s sold-out Bowery Ballroom show with Kid Sister earlier in the night.
