The Hard LA festival goes down this Saturday (7.19) at the Shrine Expo Center in LA. Get your advance tickets now or just roll up on the day of, there’s going to be a bunch of Fools and friends on stage, including A-Trak and LA Riots. Kid Sister had to cancel the date so she can finish her album, but she’s being replaced by new FG recording artist Rutger Hauer. Sike we didn’t sign Rutger Hauer. One day though…
LA Riots have a fresh mix up for the dog days of July, featuring some new joints (A-Trak and Laidback Luke!) and vintage favorites. Quoth Daniel: “We were asked to do a mix for The Crystal Method’s Radio show on Indie 103.1 but I went a bit too housey/progressive with it towards the end and decided to make a new one for them.. this is the version that isnt going to air. The Fool’s Gold fam will be at the Coachella festival this weekend getting sunburnt beyond belief radical tans and playing some music. On Sunday, you can check A-Trak and Kid Sister on the Gobi Stage and Chromeo on the Sahara Stage (full festival calendar here) and on Saturday you can check LA Riots, Flosstradamus, Nick Catchdubs and XXXChange playing the boosted mobile “Desert Poppin Pool Party” at the Mod Resort, 10 minutes away from the festival grounds (RSVP is a must).
