It’s that time of year again… we’re bringing the whole gang down to Austin for SXSW festivities. Suited and booted!

First up is our inaugural “Texas Takeover” party on Thursday, 3/18 at Republic Live, featuring Travis x A-Trak, Donnis, Treasure Fingers, Congorock, Kingdom and Sammy Bananas. Get advance tickets here.

Then the following night (Friday 3/19) at Malverde we go even bigger with our official SXSW showcase, featuring Vega, Kid Sister w/ Flosstradamus, Telephoned, Jokers Of The Scene, Trackademicks, The Suzan, Nick Catchdubs, Malente, our extended fam Theophilus London, and… surprise guests? You’ll just have to come thru and see, free entry with SXSW badge (get there early - this will fill up!)

It’s that time of year again! Love is in the air, and our Chicago bros J2K and Autobot of Flosstradamus are back with the fifth edition of their yearly FlosstraPROMus. It’s going down Friday (2/12) at Lincoln Hall, get your tickets here. Fans of Food Gold, couscous, live performance: tune into IFC Tomorrow (Tuesday 12/22) at 11pm EST for the newest episode of cool kid cooking show Dinner With The Band featuring none other than Kid Sister and Flosstradamus! They’ll be making butternut squash curry and rocking out onstage (like this “5,4,3,2,1″ clip above), with tunes and remixes from the whole Fool’s Gold fam soundtracking the whole show.

Check Floss and Kid Sis alongside DJ Lance Rock and the rest of the Yo Gabba Gabba! crew (Biz Markie!) onstage in Chicago this past weekend.

Plymouth Rock goes Planet Rock this week with two massive holiday shows starring Kid Sister, Flosstradamus and various FG fam and friends.

First up is a pre-Thanksgiving bash on Wednesday (11/25) in Chicago where the sibling superstars are joined by Chi house brethren Rob Threezy and the legendary Green Velvet at the House Of Blues. It’s all ages, and you can grab tickets here.

Then on Friday (11/27) the party comes back to NYC with a big Webster Hall show featuring Kid Sis and Floss alongside Donnis (his first NYC show since killing every night of CMJ) and Sammy Bananas. This one is 19+, advance tickets here, or RSVP for $1 entry before midnight. Not to be missed!

Check Kid Sister ripping it up on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon from Friday night. Crowd participation! Special shout to J2K of Flosstradamus for being the 2nd man to proudly rock a FG tee inside 30 Rock!

As you might have read on ze Rolling Stone, Kid Sister is hitting the road next month in support of her long awaited debut Ultraviolet (in stores 11/17) and new single “Right Hand Hi” (which, if you haven’t copped yet, you can grab here thanks to our friends at RCRD LBL). Whoo!

Our bros Flosstradamus are rocking at Webster Hall tonight, check them out if you’re in NYC. They also have snazzy new Dust La Rock-designed tees at their webstore, cop one for you and a boo.

We definitely believe in the power of smart partnerships and teamwork over at FG HQ, which is probably why one of our earliest outside supporters was fellow start-up RCRD LBL, who built their whole site around supporting artists and presenting great selections of free, authorized new music.

We’ve done free downloads and track debuts with RCRD LBL for almost as long as we’ve been a label ourselves, and this Tuesday (7.14) we’re linking up with them yet again for the 1st RCRD LBL “Friends & Family Meet Up” from 7-10pm at Le Poisson Rouge in NYC. Reps from the family of labels involved on the site (Fool’s Gold, Ghostly, Warp, etc) will be premiering tons of brand new and unreleased music - and generally just kicking it - so come through and start your evening with us!
