This year’s edition of the Fool’s Gold WMC Spectacular was our second consecutive year tearing down White Room in downtown Miami, and we finally got back all the pics and video documenting the fun-splosion. After a packed weekend of shows, we started the day bum rushing the Stones Throw pool party, killed a giant family dinner at the steakhouse, then hit the clurb. Along with all the FG fam rocking on stage (Sammy Bananas, Nick Catchdubs, Treasure Fingers, Jokers Of The Scene and Nacho Lovers - who took over the whole side room for a night of deeeeeeep house and techno) we played host to special guests Steve Aoki, DJ Mehdi, a rare Annie Mac x Fake Blood tag team, and hometown hero Craze, who ended his set by rocking with A-Trak in an epic impromptu scratch session.
We went the whole night long, staying packed long after the other shows closed down (and gave us second and third winds as the party people trickled in). Check the pics and video after the jump, and Ian Meyer’s full photo gallery here. Also peep A-Trak and Mehdi’s solo blog recaps. (more…)

Download Congorock’s contribution to shutterbug Nicky Digital’s “Pre Party Jamz” series here. “I just did a ‘party’ search on my iTunes and grabbed the best ones,” says Rocco of the tunes.
You can also grab PPJ mixes from Nick Catchdubs and Sammy Bananas on Mr Digital’s site, and check some pics from last Friday’s epic Crookers / Congorock / Annie Mac show at Webster Hall.
And in other Congo news, check our boy in LA this Friday playing Control at the Avalon!

Just like last year, Fool’s Gold is taking over White Room in Miami on Saturday, March 28th for an packed evening of party mayhem done our way during Winter Music Conference. Fam, friends, surprise guests… and it’s FREE, so come check us out! Lineup and more info after the jump. (more…)

This weekend Jokers Of The Scene hit the United Kingdom for shows at London’s Cargo (2.20) and Glasgow’s Arches (2.21) with L-Vis 1990 and Brodinski, respectively. They’ll also be rocking Sinden’s Kiss FM radio show Thursday night (though not sure when that episode will air yet). Check em out if you’re in the neighborhood!
If you can’t make it out to the UK on such short notice, enjoy these mp3s of JOTS last two radio appearances on the Indie 103.5 (RIP) Neon Noise show and Annie Mac’s BBC 1Xtra Mash-Up programme (thats how they spell it over thurr), tracklists and download links for both after the jump. (more…)

Following this weekend’s Radiohead love, the JOTS boys find their anthem “Baggy Bottom Boys” hitting the top 10 charts of everyone from UK beat heroine Annie Mac to German house don Sharam Jey to Italian distortos Bloody Beetroots to international blog obsessives Grindin. More to come!
(Sidebar: always wanted someone to call their list section “Who Charted?” but alas…)
Meanwhile, the Jokers’ sooper scary tech remix of The Subs’ “My Punk” is out now, and you can grab it at Discobelle or Fluokids. Their remixes of Congorock’s “Runark” and Bag Raiders’ “Fun Punch” will be out on FG shortly, along with a bunch of other mixes for other artists/labels, so stay tuned…
