Bussed it over to the Izod Center in Jersey last night to check out Nine Inch Nails. I’m not a stadium rock dude by any means but sometimes you gotta go for it. Arriving shortly before the end of Does It Offend You, Yeah?‘s opening set which was audibly forgettable to say the least, I took the opportunity to grab some tasty chicken fingers (Meadowlands Mustard!), fries, and a $8 Budweiser (totally expensable right guys?). We’re kicking off a new series of interviews with folks in the extended Fool’s Gold family: THE FOOL’S GOLD Q&A. It’s like Charlie Rose with swagger on a hundred, thousand, trillion, Nightline for electro nerds, 60 Minutes minus everything but Ed Bradley’s awesome earring. Our inaugural edition features the one and only Laurent Heinrich, aka Ferris Bueller, aka Lifelike, French producer/remixer extraordinaire. You can hear his signature touch on Treasure Fingers’ “Cross The Dancefloor” single (download the remix here and buy the whole single here), and read his full Q&A after the jump. More email interrogations coming soon! Read More

Right around when A-Trak’s Running Man mix for Nike+ first dropped, he went to the Nike ID studios with our art director Dust La Rock and our pal Kesh to test out some colorways. Now you can put the fruits of their afternoon on your feet by winning these Nike ID dunks!
We have 5 pairs to give away, all you have to do is email us your name, shoe size, shipping address (no PO boxes, you gotta be able to sign for these) and phone number, and we’ll choose winners at random next week.
UPDATE: Almost 1,000 entries in a weekend, not too shabby! Congratulations to Erin McCulley of St Petersburg, Keena Carson of Newport News, Ronald Moore Jr of the Bronx, Dean Bryce of London, and Yan Philippe of Montreal!

NORE’s got a whole myspace gallery dedicated to his Newports-inspired chain.
You really gotta respect the attention to detail. It says Thugged Box instead of Menthol Box. They’re called Noreports. Sounds like The War Report (his first album, duh — or am I reading into it too much?). Oh and the box opens too. God bless America.
