“Looking Thru the B-Sides” follows the adventures of a skater named “Ollie” as he is off on a quest to find his lost skateboard. What starts off as a casual trip to the skate park, turns into a wild trip down the rabbit hole and ends up in a way that Alice In Wonderland could never imagine. Part adventure, part love story, always ready for the unexpected – come along as we go Looking Thru The B-Sides.

Hello from Helsinki! My first Euro tour has been swell so far; I can conclusively report that Scandinavians have great parties and that the hotel breakfasts are off the chain. Extra props to Patski Love & Chris Stallion a.k.a JUICY from Oslo, Even who took me skateboarding in Trondheim and Sampo and Jussi who have been excellent hosts in Helsinki (here’s some video from that show). Today I’m off to London and the second half of the trip, dates and flyers on the MySpace.
Here’s a little treat that my girl Maggie Horn and I cooked up a few days before I left. It’s a cover (not a remix) of the recent T-Pain hit “Can’t Believe It.” We did a pretty loose interpretation (don’t expect Maggie to even TRY that Wayne verse) but we’re both very excited about it.

Alright so we all know that Shepard Fairey smashed the Obama campaign with his HOPE posters. And you probably know that Shepard designed my Dirty South Dance CD cover.

Why are people so uninspired with their hard drive names? You can give them any name you want, and yet everyone’s got the same “Music”, “Music II”, “Backup” or “Big Kahuna” names. I confess, I used to suffer from the same blandness, until I decided to name one of mine Ralph a few years ago (as in Wiggum). Ever since then, all my hard drives have had Simpsons names. One of my backup drives is Dr Hibbert. I’ve got 2 portable drives that are always together and they’re called Monty and Smithers. My latest one is Cletus, I don’t care about it as much.
I hope someone reads this and gets inspired to find a running theme of their own. 80′s wrestlers! Renaissance artists! Kool Keith aliases! The possibilities are endless.

They’ve decided to make this week “Fool’s Gold Week,” and to celebrate we’ve given them a different exclusive download or stream for every day. It started off with a Nacho Lovers megamix showcasing all the tracks off their forthcoming “Acid Life / Go On” single, continued with a promo download of Sammy Bananas’ “Ladies” off his Braids & Fades EP, and today we dropped a preview stream of A-Trak and Laidback Luke’s massive team-up “Shake It Down.” Tomorrow the Surkin remix of Nacho Lovers’ “Acid Life” (off our Scion comp) makes its debut, and then we close the week real big with another megamix, this time featuring tracks off Jokers Of The Scene’s long awaited Acid Bagg EP.
