I haven’t posted in awhile because I just recently moved back to BK after being a World Traveler Adventurer for a couple months as well as having a spine-crushing workload. As the records have come out of storage and gone back on the shelf I thought I’d share a couple of my favorite classics with you..
Masters of the Universe (Joey Negro)- Space Talk (Strictly Underground)
Pal Joey- Party Time (Loop ‘D Loop)
Kerri Chandler- Atmosphere EP (Shelter Records) Jersey stand the fuck up!!!
I could go on for days.. Some real posts w/ deep thoughts coming soon, I promise.

Daniel from LA Riots just sent over this clip from the booth during his set at
Berlin’s Ghent’s massive (35,000 sold-out tickets!!!) I Love Techno festival from this past weekend, along with a recording of his live set that you can download here:
“On the recording you can actually hear the crowd chanting in unison…thousands of people all chanting like they were at a soccer match!” says Daniel. They call it “football” over there homie, but we’re feeling you!!!

We already shouted out the JOTS / Trackademicks show at Cinespace in LA tonight (11.18), but gotta remind you once again now that Laidback Luke has been officially added to the show! Don’t be a dummy, roll out for this…

I’m surprised we didn’t do this earlier! Chromeo is my brother with our childhood friend, Fool’s Gold is my label… It’s only natural to get Fool’s Gold producers to remix Chromeo. Yet it took Bacardi to make it happen. Bacardi’s B-Live program brings you these funkier-than-thou remixes of the slick album closer “100%.” You all know Treasure Fingers from his infectious two-stepper ‘Cross The Dancefloor’ and multiple remixes as of late. If you’re up on your new releases you probably heard Nacho Lovers’ inaugural and timeless single “Acid Life.” And to flip things a little we recruited Bay Area rapper-slash-producer Trackademicks, whose single “Enjoy What You Do” is just about to drop! Start downloading…NOW.

Los Angelenos get THREE chances to check out Jokers Of The Scene over the next few days. Rejoice!
First up is a free in-store DJ set Sunday evening (11/16) at Turntable Lab on Fairfax (map) followed by a sure-to-be sweaty edition of Banana Split at LAX with Mike B and friends supporting. Then on Tuesday (11/18) JOTS are rocking at Cinespace alongside Trackademicks, Head Like A Kite, Dan Oh, Them Jeans, Miss Toats and a rumored SOOPER special guest?!? Don’t miss em! Full size flyers after the jump.

The man, the myth, the Pase Rock has a new single coming out in a matter of weeks (days!) and you can download the a-side banger “Get Money Kids” for free over at RCRD LBL right now.
Pasey Pase’s latest is a total FG friends-n-famathon, with Eli Escobar on the beat and Dim Mak on the label (and Jersey’s own Rime handling cover art duties!) so be sure to spend real money on it December 2nd. There’s also a video contest, and a little bird tells us a Nacho Lovers remix is on it’s way as well…

Every month Scion records radio shows at Plan B in NYC, with various guest stars bringing the jams. Then later that night they throw a free party with all of those DJs. For the children! This month’s session features our buddy Sinden alongside Fool’s Gold’s own Fistfight (of Nacho Lovers) and Nick Catchdubs, as well as the big homie DJ Eleven and the regular sized homies Michna and Blu Jemz. Catch this action packed line up for free tonight (11/11) at Plan B @ 339 E. 10th St (right off Ave B by Tompkins Square Park) starting at 10pm.

Joi Starr is the lovely vocalist on the Kanye West tours and when we were on tour together it was non stop jokes. She wanted to make these “A-Trak & me” videos of us clowning around, and then she lost the files for the funniest one… until now! Salvation! This was filmed about a year and a half ago. There’s another treat after the jump.
