We teamed up with the Italian company Pijama to create a custom, limited-edition line of Fool’s Gold-designed soft cases for your laptop (13″, 15″ and 17″ sizes), iPad, and iPhone / digital camera.

We are biased of course, but damn these are luxurious, with a fine grey herringbone pattern on the outside and a bold hit of Fool’s Gold yellow on the inside and the carrying loop. These Pijama cases are exclusive to the FG retail superstore 536 Metropolitan, come through and feel up on ‘em while they last. Read More

Para One & Tacteel “Fair Enough” EP Out Today

Posted on Jul 12th, 2011 by Mr Goldbar

Could it be? The grand return of le duo dynamique?

Fool’s Gold is proud to present the Fair Enough EP from Para One and Tacteel, their first new release in years. It’s not the housed-up Marble madness or club firepower that their remixes or respective back catalogs might lead you to expect. Rather, Fair Enough features five tracks of pure electronic experimentation: midtempo disco (“A1,” “Rome,” “Touch!”), freaked-out mood music (“Tin Drum”), even some straight-up handclapping synthpop (“Always”).

Don’t strain your brain attempting to figure out where to file this one, just kick back and enjoy the sound of two longtime collaborators (reunited and it feels so good!) armed with a whole gang of keyboards and enough faith in each other to try anything. Grab it now on Beatport.
