Depth Charge

Thursday, June 3rd, 2010

Nacho Lovers’ “Deeper” is rapidly making its way into the nether-regions of the world’s consciousness: Fader and Pitchfork props (”Don’t let that sorta-stupid name fool you: Toronto duo Nacho Lovers make seriously cavernous house music”), an appearance on this great new mix by NYC favorites House Of House, Twitter shout-outs, a Nylon appearance courtesy of A-Trak… and now an appropriately aquatic video put together by Adam Beck and Paul Johnston of Members Only. Full fathom five!

For more from the dynamic duo, check their new Beatport chart and be sure to hit up their “Deeper” release party if you’re in Toronto this Saturday (6/5), featuring sets from Nacho Lovers alongside “Deeper” remixers Azari & III.

Tuesday, May 4th, 2010

Starting this week, people walking the streets and riding the subways of NYC and Brooklyn have been greeted by the handsome trio of FG founders A-Trak, Nick Catchdubs and Dust La Rock, mugging it up for Bushmills’ new “Since Way Back” ad campaign, also featuring portraits of friends Chromeo, DFA, No Mas, and Kai Regan and co. There’s painted wall-size versions (ours is next to Alife Rivington Club), subway ads, and proper billboards throughout the metro area. Keep us posted with your Twitpics, etc when spotted!
