Alright so we all know that Shepard Fairey smashed the Obama campaign with his HOPE posters. And you probably know that Shepard designed my Dirty South Dance CD cover.
Now my homie Cody Hudson, main designer of my Sunglasses Is A Must mini-line of sorts, just did this Obama poster for Upper Playground.
Diddy’s video blogs about Sarah Palin are cool, but this is cooler.

So I’m in Berlin for a couple days. I just spent the afternoon with Peaches, she took me to the Holocaust Memorial but before getting into the heaviness we had lunch and talked about various musical doodads and she put me on to the laser harp, as popularized by Jean-Michel Jarre.
NORE’s got a whole myspace gallery dedicated to his Newports-inspired chain.
You really gotta respect the attention to detail. It says Thugged Box instead of Menthol Box. They’re called Noreports. Sounds like The War Report (his first album, duh — or am I reading into it too much?). Oh and the box opens too. God bless America.
My blogging is brief today because I’m in the studio… but who could pass on posting this? The real question is: if you had one of these, would you eat it?
Our homie Chris from the Bag Raiders hipped me to this. He googled “trizzy” and the first thing he saw was a quote from urbandictionary.com that said “I farted so hard it nearly tore my trizzy. Also you must be careful when waxing the bean bag that you don’t tear the trizzy.” Curious, he followed the link to said website. Peep how they define my lil’ moniker after the jump. (more…)
Tim Barber is one of my favorite photographers. I met him a few years ago when he was the photo editor at Vice while my brother was rap editor. We did a photo shoot when Kanye’s Late Registration tour came to Madison Square Garden (Theater) 2 years ago and he recently took the shot that’s inside the Running Man booklet.
Tim’s had this awesome photography website for a while now, called Tiny Vices. Recently he launched an online bookstore as well, called TV Books. You should really check it out.
Last week I alluded to this video when posting about Surface To Air. I’ve been playing this song “Into the Galaxy” in my sets for about a year now and people always react like it’s a song they know and love even if in a lot of cases it’s the first time they hear it. I’m so happy that the video is this good. Talk about breath-taking…
I spent the whole day at XXXChange’s crib working on a new track for the Kid Sister album, which is coming out crazy. When we finally left we got in the car and I heard this joint on the radio that sounded like Alex’s bassline from “Backyard Betty” with a Cool Kids-ish hook and a rapper that sounded like Young Chris. It’s the new Bathgate song, “Pockets Full Of Money”. I like!
