Our European Vacation Tour was a smashing success, as evidenced by the highlight reel above (soundtracked by the forthcoming Jokers Of The Scene single “Revolting Joks”). But the onstage action doesn’t end there: Red Bull Music Academy Radio recorded live sets from the last night of the tour in Paris (A-Trak, JOTS, Congorock and Arthur King), and you can listen to them here alongside great photos by Mr Mass.
There’s still a handful of tour tees at our webstore, too - get em while they last! We’ll be back soon…
Fans of Food Gold, couscous, live performance: tune into IFC Tomorrow (Tuesday 12/22) at 11pm EST for the newest episode of cool kid cooking show Dinner With The Band featuring none other than Kid Sister and Flosstradamus! They’ll be making butternut squash curry and rocking out onstage (like this “5,4,3,2,1″ clip above), with tunes and remixes from the whole Fool’s Gold fam soundtracking the whole show.
Check Kid Sister ripping it up on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon from Friday night. Crowd participation! Special shout to J2K of Flosstradamus for being the 2nd man to proudly rock a FG tee inside 30 Rock!
In case you missed em: download A-Trak’s costumed set from “The Boo Over” right here, and a recording of his I Love Techno set at Annie Mac’s blog. And if you’d like to hear our bud talk with more than his hands, check out this East Village Radio show where Trizzy pontificates on the state of independent labels with the heads of Glassnote, DFA and French Kiss.
Exactly one week from today you can finally cop Kid Sister’s debut album Ultraviolet in-stores and online. It’s been a long time coming, and we’re super proud of the record and excited for our girl!
Check the preview clips at Amazon.com, full tracklist + production credits after the jump. Also be sure to catch KS rocking with The Roots this Friday on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, and on her other upcoming tour dates. (more…)
When Alexander Robotnick was in NYC two months ago, he recorded an exclusive interview and DJ set for Turntable Lab’s Scion Radio show. Listen to it here!
Check out the newly launched Congorock.com for the latest and greatest from our boy Rocco, including Australia tour diaries, upcoming dates, and mp3 surprises like this collaboration with Crookers entitled “Sbombers” that was originally slated for the Crooks’ Grand Theft Auto radio channel, but ended up as a web treat instead.
For more Congorock (and Crookers) goodies, listen into this Mischief Night guest spot from Shark on The Fader’s “The Let Out” on East Village Radio. Yelling! And if you’re in Japan this month, check Congorock on tour - flyer after the jump. (more…)
