Trizzy Likes… Heltah Skeltah’s Artwork

Wanna know why?

I just saw the cover art for Heltah Skeltah’s new album and it reminded me of the good old days of making battle records (DJ tools). The best part of making these records was coming up with the craziest artwork we could imagine. P-Thugg was our graphic designer! This particular record came out in 2001 and was a spoof of Lil Wayne’s Tha Block Is Hot cover. The funny thing is, Gangsta Breaks was reissued a few months ago so you can still find it in record stores. Kavinsky and Boys Noize called me from a record shop in Dublin not too long ago. They saw my magnificent record and I think it made their day.
Those tats are real though.
