Interview On Erol’s Website

Tuesday, July 29th, 2008

I did an interview for Erol Alkan’s website, check it out!.

By the way I’m loving the Late Of The Pier stuff that Erol’s been producing. Look for the song “Focker”, it’s bonkers!

New Nick Catchdubs Mixes

Tuesday, July 29th, 2008

Two new free mixes from yours truly have dropped over the past few days.

First up is Slick, a bunch of uptempo tracks i’ve been playing lately (and morphs into some dubstep shit and weird rap at the end). Grab it and check the Q&A and track explanations over at Trash Menagerie.

Brand new as of this morning is Kizzaland, the debut mixtape I put together for Timbaland’s new artist Izza Kizza. Just sent an email to my boy calling it “country rap tunes…in space,” which sounds about right. Goes everywhere from abstract clubby shit to intensely personal, funny/sad storytelling - download and give it a listen!

Trizzy Likes… Definitions of the word Trizzy

Friday, July 25th, 2008

Our homie Chris from the Bag Raiders hipped me to this. He googled “trizzy” and the first thing he saw was a quote from urbandictionary.com that said “I farted so hard it nearly tore my trizzy. Also you must be careful when waxing the bean bag that you don’t tear the trizzy.” Curious, he followed the link to said website. Peep how they define my lil’ moniker after the jump. (more…)

Razor Sharp

Friday, July 25th, 2008

For some time now I’ve had a hobby of collecting banana related Ts, so you can imagine my excitement when I stumbled upon the above gem from Mishka.  COPPED!  If you ever come across any banana ts, let me know.  Otherwise, there is one banana T that I won’t be able to wear, but would look great on you.

Trizzy Likes… Tim Barber’s TV Bookshop

Thursday, July 24th, 2008

Tim Barber is one of my favorite photographers. I met him a few years ago when he was the photo editor at Vice while my brother was rap editor. We did a photo shoot when Kanye’s Late Registration tour came to Madison Square Garden (Theater) 2 years ago and he recently took the shot that’s inside the Running Man booklet.

Tim’s had this awesome photography website for a while now, called Tiny Vices. Recently he launched an online bookstore as well, called TV Books. You should really check it out.

Tim is Canadian.
