Sunday was the last of the free Pool Parties at McCarren Park in Brooklyn. The Rub and the BBC played rackords and brought out their friends to do some raps. Kid Sister, the Cool Kids, Santogold and “surprise guests” Spankrock and Amanda Blank all played. It was a real soggy, real fun family reunion. More pics after the jump… (more…)

Pedro from Ed Banger has been posting from the Daft Punk tour over here. The pyramid stopped down in Chicago for a few days (”where the music we love is coming from. Names like Dj Sneak, Dance Mania, Paul Johnson, Cajmere, Roy Davis JR, we owe them so much, they are House music. Being here is kind of a pilgrim for us.”) and you know dudes had to catch up with the Fool’s Gold fam.
